HOT FUN IN THE SUMMERTIME

It's the end of July, I've had a Bar-B-Q for Uncle Al and Aunt Claire and the whole Koopmann Crowd. It was a Blast.

The weekend after, we went to GRACELAND, another Blast. Elvis is Great! Thirty years after his death and people from all over the country and out of the country are still going to Graceland. Beale Street was fun too.

Maybe now I can get serious about this blogging and look into all the technical stuff!

Many weeks later

Well, I'm stuck on Flickr! I'm working on that and the sound. ---

I'm on a journey searching for a new computer for home, also. I'm just overwhelmed with technology. By this time next year, I should be alot more knowledgeable. Did I spell that right?

Week 2

I'm still a little behind. I need to be a little more creative, maybe some words of wisdom or interesting news........

We went to the Ducks game on Sunday, it was fun. They were winning up until the end(5/4), it got exciting, but then they blew it5/6. They played good though.

I need to do a little more research into this blogging. Have a nice week.

My First Blog

Well, we're creating blogs in work, who would've thought....... My brother would freak! He doesn't think I work hard enough as it is. He's a very studious and consciencious worker! I don't think he would approve.

The library is a great place, I love the books, the information, all the programs(I get to go to). I've been here forever it seems (18 yrs). I get amazed still at all the new exciting things that go on at the library and the influence it has in people's lives.

My three boys have grown since I've started, two are out of the house and working on the third. My husband's almost ready to retire. I'm not, going to work is therapy for me. My second family; my work family, keeps me busy. My pages drive me crazy like my kids did at home. But I love them just the same.

The balance of it all is perfect. When I go home, I'm there, I don't think of work. I enjoy relaxing, watching American Idol, House and Heroes. I'm still bowling Friday nights and playing cards on Saturday nights.

The library is fast becoming a place where people could utilize its programs and services to change their lives. Amazing!
